Four players who impressed

-Whatever running back Karan Higdon’s injury was, he seems to be healthy now. After missing last week’s game against SMU due to injury, the junior took his first carry Saturday for 46 yards. Two carries later, Higdon scored on a 44-yard run. He wasn’t asked to do much Saturday, but Michigan’s lead back impressed with 136 yards and a score on 12 carries.

-Sophomore fullback Ben Mason was also highly productive in his action. In six carries, Mason used his power to push for 18 yards and a whopping three touchdowns

-Recording six tackles, two tackles for loss a sack and chasing down several plays, junior linebacker Devin Bush Jr. was once again a force to be reckoned with on Michigan’s defense.

-Though Saturday’s box score is full of play that occurred after the game was out of hand, redshirt junior tight end Zach Gentry found a way to get open three times when it wasn’t, catching three passes for 32 yards and a score in the first half.

Seven other notes

-Nebraska is now 0-3 for the first time since 1945, after losing to Colorado and Troy at home in the previous two weeks before Saturday.

-Michigan recorded 14 satackles for loss in the win, getting TFL contributions from 12 different players.

-Freshman wide receiver Ronnie Bell caught the first pass of his career for a 56-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter. He also led the team with 56 receiving yards.
